Objective of the position:
Assists in designing, implementing, and evaluating the marketing activities of assigned products within a given product line including distribution channel solutions (may include digital, social media, inside sales). Assists in review of marketing programs and helps implement changes. Assists in analysis of market data to identify key segment drivers. Works in conjunction with promotional and direct-to-consumer teams.

Main tasks
Strategy
Strategic product management, implementation, and rollout of the Global Brand Strategy at the local level.
Planning and implementation of marketing concepts.
Responsibility for creation and monitoring of goal achievement (critical metrics).
Rollout of PR and communication plans through e.g., multi-channel.
Market and competitor observation (brand trackers, sales analyses, market monitoring, etc.).
Standard methodology sharing in the region, e.g., in the context of global brand forums, exchange with BM colleagues as well as with AZ global and operational
Operational
Assemble, lead, and distribute tasks to the brand team
Driving agendas in the brand team - impulse provider and motivator for the brand team
Representation of the brand team in the SMT/region
Budget responsibility for the brand budget: monitoring the budget, creating forecasts
Decisions on the use of resources, responsible for budget shifts
Driving marketing excellence for the product: rollout (including monitoring and tracking) of materials and core messages to the sales force
Conducting training sessions (also during cycle meetings)
First point of contact for sales managers
Working relationship with local and national opinion leaders, joint visits with sales
Essential
University degree or equivalent experience in a scientific or economic field
At least 4 years proven work and leadership experience in a similar role in multinational matrix company and previous industry sector
Good command in English and German (written and spoken)
