DataScienceLeadcollaborateswithHealthEconomics&OutcomeResearchLead(HEORLead)toensureanappropriatenessofAlexionconductingdatabaseresearchesandtodelivermeaningfulevidencetofacilitatefutureclinicalpracticeandrelevantpolicyineachtherapeuticarea
DataScienceLeadplaysakeyroleofdataanalyticsbyproposingsuitabledatabase,andeffectiveanalyticalmethodsandprovidinginterpretationofresultsforallAlexionemployees.
DataScienceLeadreportstoDirectorofEvidenceandObservationalResearch.
DataScienceLeadcollaboratesandcontributestoallAlexionconductingevidencegeneration,databaseresearchwithregardtoplanninganddataanalytics
DataScienceLeadassessesstudydesign/targetpopulation/datasource/datahandling/analyticalmethodandgivesuitableinputsfromanepidemiologicalpointofview
DataScienceLeadoverseesevidencegenerationrelatedvenders(timelinemanagement,qualityofoutputs,resource,&budget)

Lead/co-leadingofobservational/databaseresearchanddataanalytics
Tomakestudydesign,endpoints,analysis,andinterpretationofstudyresultfromanEpidemiologicalpointofviewandleadobservational/databaseresearchinAlexion.
Toinputanalysismethod,datahandling,andinterpretationtootherdivisions
Assessmentofstudydesign/targetpopulation/datasource/datahandling/analyticalmethodandgivesuitableinputsfromanepidemiologicalpointofview
Toreviewplansofobservational/databaseresearchandsupportfornecessarydocumentations(studydesignconcept,clinicalstudyprotocol,statisticalanalysisplan,etc.)
Tolearninnovativemethodologyandchallengetoimplementthosetoourstudies/researches
Oversightofvenders(timelinemanagement,qualityofoutputs,resource,&budget)
Tooverseevenderperformancestoachieveresponsiblestudieseffectively
Togivefeedbacks&getfeedbacksfromvendersforconstructingagoodrelationshipwithvenders
Tofindefficientwaysformultipletasks(e.g.makestandarddocuments,andproposethereuseofprograms)
Survey&assessthenecessaryinformationfordatabaseandrecommenddatabasethatfitsforresearch/analyticalpurpose
TosurveydatabasesthatAlexionis/willbeabletoaccessforusingourresearch

Youwillneedtohave:
Advanceddegree:PhDorMasterdegreeinpublichealthorequivalent(individualsholdingMD/biological/pharmaceuticalsciencedegreemaybeacceptable,butshouldhavehadthesufficientexperiencespecializedinclinicaldevelopment/epidemiologicalresearch).MDdegreeisdesirableontopofthepublichealth
5-10yearsofrelevantexperienceinaPharmaceuticalcompany
Design,analysis,interpretandpublishresearchesforDataScience/Epidemiology/clinical
Planning,managing,and/orleadinggroupofindividualsresponsibleforconductingclinical/epidemiologicresearch,analysisofdata,readingofthedataforefficacy,safety,clinicaleffectivenessandepidemiologicalassessments(acceptableeveniftheleadershipisprimarilyfocusedonthescientificfeatures)
Reviewing,assessingandusingreal-worlddatafortheresearchpurposestoaddressclinical/researchquestions
Networking,integratingandusingEMR(electronicmedicalrecords)/HER(electronichealthrecord)datafortheclinical/epidemiologicalresearch
Usingandapplyingbioinformaticsmethodologiestoanalyzemedicalbigdata/database/scientificresearch
Abilitytoapplyappropriatestudydesign&analyticalmethodstoobservational/Epidemiological/pragmaticinterventionalstudiestocombinebusinessandscientificagenda
