Site IT Technical manager AstraZeneca Mexico

The purpose of the Mexico Site IT Technical Manager role is to lead or support a local small team of skilled & specialist IT professionals who will deliver and actively drive improvements for the IT infrastructure, tools and services that directly support the workforce across their site.The role will have an in-depth understanding of ETS technologies and services as well as the delivery organization, their operations, SPOC and engagement ways of working.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage local telecommunications network equipment, servers, and meeting rooms.
  • Implement projects aimed at the renewal and modernization of IT infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT tools and services.
  • Ensure a high level of service and support for employees, enhancing their IT working experience.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, consolidate, or rationalize IT service delivery.

Mandatory skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as an IT Manager or equivalent
  • Degree: In Computer Engineering or a similar field
  • Extensive experience in IT infrastructure service management
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Process-oriented skills
