Job Description
As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, support, and continuous improvement of software applications in Tulip, ensuring they meet business needs and quality standards. The Application Engineer acts as a bridge between IT, business users, and software vendors, translating user requirements into effective technical solutions. The role includes troubleshooting, process automation, documentation, and user training activities.
Typical Accountabilities
- Implement, configure, and maintain software applications as per business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze and document business and technical needs.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for application issues.
- Participate in system integration, user acceptance testing, and validation activities.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and user guides.
- Train and support end-users to ensure effective use of applications.
- Apply best practices in IT security, data integrity, and compliance (e.g., GxP, GDPR).
- Continuously monitor application performance and suggest/implement improvements.
- Support project management activities related to application deployment and digital transformation.
Essential
- Knowledge in Tulip Programming and TLS validation
- Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience supporting or implementing business software applications
- Knowledge of software development life cycle, system integrations, and validation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

- Technical proficiency in relevant programming languages or platforms
- Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, healthcare) is an advantage.
