Finance Business Partner - Sweden Operations

We're passionate about the potential of science to address the unmet needs of patients around the world. As a Finance Business Partner at our dynamic Södertälje Campus, you’ll join a collaborative and inclusive team at one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturing hubs, where innovation and impact happen every minute. Sweden Operations employs 3000 people, has an annual OPEX of $600m and CAPEX of $200m and delivers medicines to more than 100 markets around the world.

In this role you’ll work closely with inspiring colleagues and leaders, reporting to the Regional Head of Finance Sweden Operations.You’ll take ownership of one or more key business areas, using your expertise to lead performance management, provide valuable financial insights for business decisions, and deliver expert analysis on risks andsensitivities.

What you´ll do:

You’ll play a central role as an integral member of our local leadership team supporting business unit leaders in shaping both strategic and tactical direction with the opportunity to design and implement innovative efficiency initiatives—both short and long-term—steering the team towards best-in-class performance and operational excellence.

Your knowledge will be essential in developing robust business plans, budgets, and standard cost models, while clearly communicating key issues and priorities to stakeholders across AstraZeneca. Bringing an independent and analytical perspective, you’ll confidently challenge business partners and leaders to unlock greater value for our organization. In this role you´lldeliver regular, comprehensive financial performance insights, ensuring that decision-makers have the information they need to drive strategic, tactical, and operational improvements throughout the business.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• 5-10 years of Experience of Finance Business Partnering 

• Strong analytical mindset – can turn numbers into insights and actions

• Delivery focus – must be able to manage competing deadlines & priorities effectively

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and in Swedish

• Experience of using financial systems to support business decision making (budgeting, forecasting & modelling)

• Relevant educational background/qualification (Msc BA/Civilekonom or equivalent)

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment

• Experience of working in a large global matrix organization
