Health Economics Manager, Singapore

As a Health Economics Manager in Singapore, you’ll lead the delivery of health economic content for HTA submissions to convey the value of AstraZeneca medicines, with the aim of securing national level patient access.

Accountabilities:
Develop, tailor and deliver health economic analyses for HTA submissions:
Manage the overall HTA submission strategy and dossier preparation for key priority brands
Provide strategic input into local pricing strategy, evidence needs etc
Research prior technology evaluations to gain understanding of relevant considerations
Tailor final deliverables to meet Singapore HTA needs, via a “hands on” approach, including development of budget impact analysis
Manage the outsourcing of some parts of company-led submissions
Support in writing parts of ACE’s submission dossier, working collaboratively with Singapore market access team, global HEOR and local cross-functional team
Provide high quality responses to technical questions and evaluation reports
Business partnering on priority brands:
Develop strong brand and therapy area knowledge to give effective support to cross-functional teams, having taken the time to understand their needs
Within cross functional teams, contribute to the strategic and operational planning processes
Essential Skills & Experience:
Postgraduate qualification in health economics
Proven experience of developing HE content for HTA submissions in either in a HEOR agency or in the pharmaceutical industry
Ability to be able to develop cost-utility analysis and budget impact models in Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge (or above) of Microsoft Visual Basic Applications (VBA)
Demonstrable record of collaborative working and personal delivery to agreed timelines
Ability to be able to prioritise effectively, based on business need
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong written skills
Experience of training non-Health Economists in the effective delivery of HE outputs
Desirable Requirements:
First degree in economics, life sciences, mathematics or similar
Experience of managing external suppliers
Experience of up-skilling junior HE staff
Other experience beyond Health Economics (e.g. NHS)
Experience in Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic therapy areas
