[Role description]

AstraZeneca Korea Corporate Communications team is looking for a Communications Specialist to cover a maternity leave. The role supports employee communication, manages content across various channels, and assists with producing effective communication materials. This position requires a university degree, relevant experience in communications, fluency in English, and strong attention to detail.

[Typical Accountabilities]

  • Create content including visuals, videos, and stories
  • Manage social media account in Korean and English
  • Provide support regarding editing of various documents and PowerPoint presentations
  • Support company events
  • Assist in other tasks on request

[Skills]

  • Excellent writing skills
  • Basic content creation skills
  • Familiarity with internal communications tools (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Workvivo)

[Qualifications]

1. Education: University degree in communications, journalism, or other relevant discipline

2. Language: Fluent in verbal and written English

3. Work Experience:

  • Minimum five years of professional experience in communications, public affairs, or related fields, preferably in multinational companies

4. Competencies:

  • Proficiency in English and excellent writing skills are essential for this position
  • Hands-on experience with social media
  • Familiarity with corporate social responsibility activities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously while managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Well-organized, professional and reliable
  • Good understanding of the healthcare industry will be considered an advantage
