Franchise Lead - Oncology Baltics

Introduction to Role:

Join us as a Franchise Lead Oncology, a key leader in our Oncology Business Unit. Reporting to the Head of Oncology Baltics, you will be responsible for leading the commercial development and profitable management of your respective brand/therapeutic area. You will drive performance to achieve Brand/TA revenue and financial targets, inspire and develop your team, and foster cross-functional collaboration across the TA and within the broader Oncology Business Unit.

Accountabilities:

  • You are accountable for the business performance of your brand/TA as per Phased Budget targets.

  • You have full P&L responsibility for your brand/TA and are responsible for ensuring key financial and brand metrics are met.

  • Business and strategy planning including forecasting, market analysis.

  • Leading the Franchise strategic planning, Long-term DA strategy.

  • Accountable for ensuring launch readiness in entrusted TA, across Baltic cluster.

  • Works with KAM&TAM on account management developing strategies for each account to meet the targets aligned with the franchise strategy.

  • Lead and encourage teams to upscale omnichannel approach to maximize reach. Advocate for incorporating Digital/GenAi/Ai projects.

  • Grow AZ leadership and expand external network in Oncology.

  • Contributing to key initiatives and above-brand projects within the cluster. A success criteria of this role is understanding cross-brand and TA dynamics that impact the commercialization of our AZ Oncology pipeline and proactively working with peers to leverage synergies and identify needs & opportunities.

  • Cultivate and modelcross functionalleadership and ensure alignment of the Sales&Marketing teams with othercross functionalteams on country level (Medical, Access, Diagnostics) to build an ambitious and collaborative business.

  • Build network on regional (and above) level in the entrusted Franchises stream, to leverage synergies, experience exchange and wider projects.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • University education or equivalent experience in Medicine, Pharmacy or Science

  • Leadership experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with accountability and a consistent record for delivering on business goals

  • Broad commercial experience with proven success across various stages of the brand lifecycle

  • Profound understanding of drug development and commercialization in Oncology

  • Proven grasp of ongoing paradigm changes and future trends in healthcare commercialization

  • Demonstrated ability to establish teams and achieve goals by delivering through others

  • Shown experience and knowledge of a broad base of external partners and customers

  • P&L management experience and ability to build a financial narrative

  • Experienced with key regulations in the field of pharmaceutical compliance and commercialization
