Precision Medicine Field Director - South

Join us as a Precision Medicine Field Director (PMFD) and provide leadership to drive high performance through your regional Precision Medicine Manager team. This role is perfect for a self-starter and highly influential change agent with strong leadership experience. As a PMFD, you will be a role model, demonstrating collaboration across internal and field facing teams, and embracing an ethical, diverse, and inclusive approach. 

Accountabilities:
As a PMFD, you will be responsible for synthesizing insights across the geography, defining the priorities for precision medicine within key accounts, and providing regular coaching to your team. You will also be accountable for the engagement of the full team and establishment of a positive culture in line with AZ values, ethical standards, and compliance expectations.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of total business experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Previous management and leadership experience
  • Ability to engage, motivate and lead cross-functional teams; strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in Life Science, MBA, Medical, or Pharmacy
  • Experience working in US Oncology Pharma industry  
  • Ability to lead multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfort operating in a highly regulated environment and industry
