Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist, Advanced Specialty Care, Immunology - Raleigh, NC

As a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist for the Immunology Advanced Specialty Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives! This role will support and be aligned to our Raleigh, NC location.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of complex clinical disease states and advanced treatment guidelines.
  • Clearly communicates complex product information to healthcare professionals to positively impact patient outcomes.
  • Analyzes market trends and develops strategic business plans that leverage a deep understanding of the market landscape, dynamics and patient access challenges.
  • Addressing customer needs and driving sales performance.
  • Provides solutions to customer by creating tailored experiences that address the unique needs of each account.
  • Collaborates effectively across sales teams and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of strategies and comprehensive management of key accounts. • Identifies opportunities for process improvement, demonstrates a growth mindset and seeks innovative approaches to sales and customer engagement.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree • 3+ yrs of demonstrated Sales or Commercial experience or a combination of pharmaceutical, healthcare, scientific, clinical, institutional, or related industry / settings within the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Experience in account planning and/or complex reimbursement model.
  • A valid driver’s license and safe driving record Desirable Requirements
  • Experience launching new products and/or new indications
  • Prior Immunology biologics or specialty care experience, specifically Rheumatology
  • Demonstrated effective time management, organizational and interpersonal skills to prioritize opportunities and execute flawlessly
  • Demonstrated effective leadership, organization and communication skills
  • Results oriented mindset with demonstrated time management skills
  • Ability to learn, analyze, understand and convey complex information
  • Track record of engaging key stakeholders in complex clinical environments (mid to senior level healthcare professionals, key accounts and the medical community)
  • Proven demonstration of successful working in complex cross functional teams
  • Strong scientific acuity in a highly competitive environment
  • Strong understanding of the reimbursement and distribution challenges of a biologic products to take a strategic approach to capitalize on marketplace opportunities (eg buy and bill, specialty pharmacy)

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience launching new products and/or new indications
  • Prior specialty experience, preferably in Rheumatology
  • Prior experience selling in biologics in buy and bill/specialty pharmacy.
  • Candidate must reside withing the geography.
