Packaging Specialist

This role is a new 3rd shift team. This team will TRAIN on 2nd shift (

3:45pm - 2:15am M-Th - 10h). Once trained, likely 1Q26, the team will move to 3rd shift (11pm - 7:30am  M-F 8 hr day).

Accountabilities

· Assign packaging operators to predetermined visual staffing plan
· Ensure adherence to standard work using various line management initiatives
· Complete required batch documentation and resolve issues
· Complete assignments that require judgment, initiative, innovation, and leadership in troubleshooting, suggesting alternatives, and making recommendations for continuous improvement
· Implement training activities of operators for fulfillment of on-the-job training requirements
· Work shifts and overtime as the need arises
· Computer skills; Microsoft Suite, electronic document revision
· Ownership of an associated business process within area of knowledge
· Ability to lead and support formal problem solving

Essential Skills/Experience

· High School diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or Associate Science Degree.
· 3-6 years of related experience or training.
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety procedures and manufacturing instructions
· Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, and status updates
· Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or other employees of the organization
· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages
· Ability to find practical problems in situations where only limited information is available
· Ability to work with Microsoft Office applications. SAP experience is preferred
