P2P Problem Solver Specialist will be responsible for ultimate resolution of more complex accounts payable issues. By close collaboration with different functions, the role holder will be expected to improve the P2P process experience for suppliers transacting with AZ. Constant improvement mindset, eagerness to learn, can-do attitude is some of the key qualities we are looking for.
The role holder will have international exposure and will report into P2P Problem Solver Manager.
Key responsibilities:
This role provides global support across the APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and US regions.
Leading projects and interacting with global stakeholders.
Facilitate and lead group meetings, presentations, and discussions to drive ongoing issues and projects.
2nd line P2P issue resolution (mainly with suppliers, internal stakeholders, helpdesk and AP team) and identifying key roadblocks to eliminate them in the future
Address complex issues by coordinating with appropriate teams for permanent resolution, while educating users or guiding them to relevant training to close identified knowledge gaps.
Communicate with suppliers and guide them on how to effectively transact with AZ avoiding rejected invoices or delayed payments
Collaborate with other teams within Buying Channel Support to prevent issues from reoccurring (Stakeholder Management & Training, Communication Manager, PO Requestors/Budget holders, Supplier Enablement etc.)
Implement change as required to drive compliance and improve user experience
Timely and accurate achievement of objectives
Analyze current processes and workflows, recommending and implementing lean methodologies in daily work to eliminate waste and enhance productivity
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Payables (in depth process knowledge)
Minimum 3 years of experience in working with Purchase to Pay systems like Coupa, Ariba, SAP etc.
Proven ability to lead meetings, deliver presentations, and facilitate discussions to drive project and issue resolution.
Solid knowledge of Complete P2P (purchase-to-pay) process
Good knowledge and understanding of 3-way match invoices, PR/PO and Good Receipt process
Knowledge of some tax rules would be an asset
Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus
Previous experience in SSC or internationally setup organization
Languages required: English – fluent in speaking and writing, other language would be an asset (Japanese)
Confident working and delivering high quality service without close supervision and work as team
Strong analytical skills, attention to details, accurate, assertive, proactive when investigating issues
Advanced Microsoft Excel & Power point skills
Knowledge of reporting tools like power BI/Power automate would be an asset.
