Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic liaison role will be a hybrid of field-based and office-based diagnostic professional with scientific, diagnostics, and therapeutic area expertise.
- Gain insights through field engagement (50% of time in field) to aid in the development of local diagnostic strategies
- Identify barriers and unmet needs of diagnostics testing through engagement with histo lab, molecular diagnostics labs, lab networks and HCPs
- Execution of tactical plans locally to support and educate on appropriate testing.
- Responsible for compiling diagnostics data, monitoring the number and performance of testing to ensure labs providing timely, high quality in-market companion diagnostics / testing solutions.
- Work in full coordination with the Field Sales Team, Medical Scientific Liaisons, and cross functional team to carry out tactical plans and provide responses to diagnostics inquires
- Primary point of contact of external diagnostics stakeholders, e.g., pathologists or molecular pathologists, molecular diagnostics kit suppliers, scientific experts, laboratory team, Health Care Professionals (HCP), and scientific organizations.
Essential Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree; preferably an advanced degree in health sciences, life sciences or biomedical sciences.
- Thorough knowledge of the molecular diagnostics technologies e.g., NGS, ISH, etc. Preferably with hands on experience in molecular lab.
- Understanding of local molecular diagnostic and clinical testing landscape especially in oncology field. Experience in oncology diagnostic and pharmaceutical company will be an advantage.
- Proven ability to communicate and build strong collaborative relationships with a broad base of external customers including patients, prescribers, payers, providers, and thorough knowledge of diagnostic test regulatory environment (preferred)
