We are seeking an experienced and talented Software Test Lead to spearhead our testing efforts for software projects incorporating diagnostic AI and image analysis. You will develop comprehensive test strategies, ensure compliance with diagnostic and pharmaceutical industry standards, and support project teams in executing both automated and manual tests. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our software solutions meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning & Strategy: Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans that outline testing scope, resources, schedules, and deliverables for projects.
Test Case Development: Design, develop, review and execute test cases and scripts across integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
Automation: Implement and maintain automated testing solutions to increase test coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure testing processes align with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including ISO 13485 and IEC 62304.
Defect Tracking & Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments related to software testing and quality assurance and implement mitigation strategies.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to the overall software testing and quality assurance processes.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, outcomes, and quality metrics for regulatory compliance and audits.
Systems Integration & UAT: Oversee the execution of system integration tests and user acceptance tests to ensure seamless software functionality.
Collaboration & Standards Setting: Work with the Tech Lead to set and maintain engineering standards, inc
luding unit testing.
Qualifications:
Education & experience: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant industry experience / Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant industry experience in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees and specialization preferred.
Industry knowledge of biomarker / Companion Diagnostics development is beneficial.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks such as Jira XRay, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, SonarQube, and pytest.
Experience with Python and TypeScript is beneficial.
Proven experience with cloud-deployed solutions and familiarity with AWS.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Certifications: ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications are a plus.
