 • Deliver analytics, insights, and data governance Role Overview: The SAP Business Relationship Manager at AstraZeneca serves as the critical link between business units and the Global Innovation and Technology Centre tech team, leading all SAP-related projects and programs. This role works closely with stakeholders to understand evolving business needs, ensuring SAP-enabled processes are efficient, compliant, and strategically aligned. By driving process simplification and automation on the SAP platform, the SAP business partner delivers faster, more reliable business operations and enhances compliance. Core Accountabilities:

 • Lead, plan, and deliver SAP projects and programs in alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements, ensuring outcomes drive patient and business value.

• Build deep partnerships with business stakeholders to capture evolving requirements, translating complex business needs into SAP solutions and actionable project plans.

• Collaborate closely with the GITC tech team to drive seamless implementation and integration of SAP initiatives, ensuring technical and business alignment.

• Oversee the integrity, efficiency, and compliance of business processes enabled by SAP, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and robust controls.

• Serve as the key contact for SAP-related escalations, proactively anticipating business risks or issues and ensuring resolution with agility and accountability.

 • Drive comprehensive business analysis activities—eliciting requirements, conducting workshops, mapping processes, and validating solutions in partnership with business and technical teams.

• Influence and engage stakeholders across functions and geographies, ensuring clarity of objectives, measurable outcomes, and a shared sense of urgency in delivery.

• Monitor project deliverables, budgets, and timelines, applying best-practice project management methodologies to mitigate risks and maximize value realization.

 • Deliver clear, concise, and impactful communication to all levels of the organization, tailoring messaging for technical, non-technical, and senior leadership audiences.

• Serve as the single point of contact for all SAP-related issues, tasks, requirements, projects, and interfaces—ensuring efficient coordination and accountability across the enterprise

 • Oversee SAP user role management, including managing access for new joiners and leavers, to uphold robust security and compliance standards

 • Partner with audit teams to identify, remediate, and resolve Segregation of Duties (SOD) conflicts in close alignment with evolving business needs and regulatory obligations

• Provide expert support for interfaces and integrations connecting SAP to downstream applications such as Concur, Workday, Blackline, COUPA, and Veeva, optimizing end-to-end business processes

 • Facilitate the implementation of government regulations—such as tax modifications and GST updates—within the SAP landscape, ensuring timely and compliant system changes

• Support all internal and external audit processes by maintaining system integrity, addressing audit findings, and ensuring ongoing compliance with industry best practices Skills and Experience Required

 • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the SAP SD and FICO process, encompassing the complete order-to-billing cycle and advanced pricing configurations

 • Excellent understanding of P2P process (PR, PO and GRN)

• Experienced in utilizing IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms such as ServiceNow for incident management, change management, and requirements submission workflows, ensuring efficient support and governance

• Demonstrated experience leading complex SAP projects or programs.

 • Strong business analysis skills, with a proven ability to translate business strategy and processes into effective technical solutions.

• Significant experience partnering with internal technology teams and external partners to drive project delivery and operational excellence.

• Advanced project management abilities, with a track record of successful, on[1]time, and on-budget delivery of large-scale enterprise projects.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to drive consensus among diverse groups and at all organizational levels.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts with clarity and impact.

 • Proven ability to act with urgency and decisiveness, proactively managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to business processes within a highly regulated environment

• Business Analysis Certification • Globally accredited Project Management Certifications • Understanding of the evolving technology landscapes, especially AI/LLM/GPT • Domain experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences sector • Experience in agile delivery • Lean & Six Sigma application experience
