We seek an inspiringanalytical development scientist to drive the development of ourlentiviral vector therapeutic platform. Accountabilities

  • Independently design, plan and execute studies for the development of analytical methods for the characterization of EsoBiotec’s lentiviral vectors.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in analytical testing of lentiviral vectors.

  • Support pre-GMP and GMP vector testing at partner CDMOs.

  • Apply expertise in analytical testing to review workplans, activities, and reports internally and from CDMO partners, maintaining timelines and budgets.

  • Support CMC regulatory filings related to the company’s viral vectors.

  • Facilitate technical transfers of analytical methods to third parties.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Degree in Virology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or related disciplines is required.

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant postgraduate industry experience is required.

  • Solid track record in developing analytical assays for gene therapy and/or cell therapy products is required.

  • Strong scientific/technical writing and communication skills in English is required.

  • Detail-oriented and excellent communication skills both written and oral in English is a must.

  • Passion, knowledge, and experience in gene therapy and strong analytic thinking skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proven record of collaborations and effective work with internal and external partners.

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Expertise with Lentiviral vector biology and lentiviral gene therapy vector analytical testing is preferred.

  • Previous experience with tech transfers and CDMO interactions is a plus.
