About Precision Medicine & Biosamples
Precision Medicine is at the heart of our commitment to innovation and growth. We put patients first by applying precision medicine approaches across all therapy areas (TAs), and in over 95% of drug projects, which sets us apart from our competitors. Through diagnostic tests to evaluate individual responses to treatments, we seek to match medicines to those patients who most likely to benefit.
Human biological samples (HBS) are at the heart of every clinical program and PMB supports clinical sampling needs and logistics, the registration and storage of samples in our biobanks and the compliance and governance to ensure every HBS is treated in the right way. Together that ensures quality samples, collected, or purchased, are managed effectively and appropriately across their life cycle.
In our state-of-the-art research centres, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in your work, advance your career and contribute towards scientific excellence. But as well as growing in our multidisciplinary setting, you’ll work collaboratively with external diagnostic companies and world-class research institutes.
AstraZeneca embraces diversity and equality of opportunity. We are committed to building an inclusive and diverse team representing all backgrounds, with as wide a range of perspectives as possible, and harnessing industry-leading skills. We believe that the more inclusive we are, the better our work will be. We welcome and consider applications to join our team from all qualified candidates, regardless of their characteristics. We comply with all applicable laws and regulations on non-discrimination in employment (and recruitment), as well as work authorization and employment eligibility verification requirements.
