Marketing Manager - Breast Oncology

As a Marketing Manager for Breast Oncology, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your marketing expertise to drive patient-focused initiatives and strategies. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the growth of a new biomarker-targeted therapy for metastatic breast cancer patients in Canada.
Your role in building the brand and achieving our ambitions includes:
- Build, lead, and implement customer marketing activities and tactics to promote a branded oncology medicine.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure executional excellence and incorporate different perspectives.
- Develop and deliver marketing presentations to the sales team and brand stakeholders.
- Lead the development and management of promotional materials with agency partners.
- Seek new insights and measure the impact of digital initiatives to optimize content and channel mix.
- Positively influence brand performance and profitability while managing promotional expenses effectively.
- Cultivate an inclusive, collaborative team environment that embraces diversity of thought.
- Build rapport with key external experts to elevate AstraZeneca’s leadership position in oncology.
- Ensure key projects align with AstraZeneca’s regulatory policies, PAAB, and IMC codes.
Your qualifications include:
- University degree or equivalent in science and/or business.
- A minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with demonstrated impact in roles such as sales, marketing, market access, professional education, sales training, analytics, and insights.
- Ability to act with urgency and prioritize work to meet business needs.
- Effective management of multiple projects to meet timelines and achieve results.
- Critical thinking skills focused on strategic direction and a patient-centric approach.
- Ability to positively impact and influence others, establish credibility, and build strong business relationships.
- Strong communication skills, including writing and presentation.
- Experience building digital platforms/channels.
- Commitment to developing a cohesive team environment.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Previous work in breast oncology is a plus.
- Previous KOL relationship management experience is a plus.
- French language skills are a plus.
