Global Oncology Medical Communications & Information Associate Director
Introduction to role:
Are you ready to make a significant impact in the fight against cancer? As the Global Oncology Medical Communications & Information Associate Director, you will be at the forefront of delivering critical brand and therapeutic area deliverables. Your role will involve responding to medical inquiries, providing scientific consultation for promotional materials, and developing scientific content for both internal and external stakeholders. This position is part of the Content Excellence Team within Medical Communications & Information (MC&I) and reports directly to an MC&I Director. You will also play a vital role in supervising and supporting Medical Information Managers within your team.
Accountabilities:
In this dynamic role, you will own all deliverables within your focus area, ensuring alignment with the overall medical strategic vision and MC&I priorities. You will contribute to and lead the development, review, and maintenance of various content types, including Managed Market documents, slide decks, standard response documents, Q&As, infographics, chatbot conversations, and interactive core medical content. Your expertise will be crucial in providing strategic scientific consultations on brand messages and reviewing promotional materials for accuracy. Additionally, you will coordinate the development and approval of clinical Data on File Packets to support promotional claims. Your responsibilities will extend to managing internal stakeholder needs, supervising team operations, and supporting new team members' integration.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Advanced degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred), Pharmacology, Science, or equivalent clinical experience
- 2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry-based Drug/Medical Information/Scientific Communications or equivalent industry experience
- Demonstrated expertise in drug information communication and management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to apply local regulatory (e.g., FDA), legal, and compliance requirements to Medical Affairs
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Clinical Pharmacy experience with patient care exposure
- Drug Information Residency or equivalent experience
- Experience working with Commercial or Brand Teams
- Medical information call centre experience
- Experience leading projects and teams
- Managed Markets or HEOR experience
- Pharmacy Licensure preferred
