Introduction to role
Are you ready to make a significant impact on AstraZeneca's liquidity position and cash flow performances? As a Cash Flow Enterprise Process Expert, you'll support the Cash Flow Enterprise Process Lead in designing, optimizing, and implementing end-to-end Indirect and Direct Cash Flow processes. Your role will enhance cash flow actual granularity, forecasting accuracy, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with enterprise process areas like Order Distribution to Cash, Purchase to Pay, and Record to Report to embed cash flow data collection at the source. Partner with data and tech teams to develop scalable and automated processes that improve cash visibility, reduce risk, and support strategic decision-making.
Accountabilities
- Process Design & Optimization
- Support EPL in the design and documentation of cash flow processes, including planning and actual reporting in operating, investing, and financing activities.
- Develop a cash flow process with data collection embedded at source to maximize automation.
- Design and automate cash flow forecasting techniques tailored to different business areas.
- Deliver actual granularities by MUs, cash flow categories, and identify movement drivers between cash and non-cash.
- Implement performance metrics at both managerial and operational levels.
- Implement STAT to Management cash flow reconciliation.
- Implement best practices for real-time cash visibility and reporting.
- Design treasury short-term and long-term cash flow projections.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Align cash flow processes for actuals and forecasting impact with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Record to Report, Tax, and Treasury teams.
- Transform design into implementation by partnering with IT, Data, and key business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other EPLs to identify process gaps and ensure an integrated outcome.
- Leverage subject matter expertise in financial data and Non SAP systems landscape.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
- Extensive experience in Cash flow Planning and Management reporting
- Significant experience in cash flow ERP transformation and Business Improvement
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Pharmaceutical industries but not essential
- Experience in both direct and indirect cash flow
- Project management experience
- S4HANA experience
