AI/Digital Product Owner

Accountabilities

As a regulatory Digital Product Director, you will collaborate with business stakeholders and IT to drive the delivery and development of digital solutions aligned with R&D transformation priorities. You will represent business interests and be accountable for improving the value of the digital products developed. Key responsibilities include:

- Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the business' overall objectives.
- Engage with stakeholders across the organization to gather insights and feedback, ensuring the product roadmap reflects business priorities and user needs.
- Stay on top of industry trends, competitive landscape, and new technologies to advise product decisions and maintain a competitive position.

Product Development and Management

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development from concept to launch.
- Develop and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring features deliver tangible value and align with strategic goals.
- Define and communicate detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team.
- Lead all aspects of the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Support rollout and implementation of digital products, identifying training approaches tailored to teams and user groups.
- Lead dependencies in and across releases to complete release phases and turning points.
- Drive continuous improvement of digital products to maintain business relevance.

- Advocate for the end-user by conducting user research, usability testing, and collecting feedback.
- Work closely with key business SMEs, process owners, and training experts to ensure effective user training.
- Analyze user behavior and engagement metrics to optimize the user experience.
- Ensure products are accessible, intuitive, and meet high standards of usability.

Data-Driven Decision Making

- Leverage data analytics and market research to make informed product decisions.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to track product success.
- Conduct regular product performance reviews and present findings to stakeholders.

Essential Skills/Experience

- Degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Business, or an equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a digital product development environment. Having previous experience in Life Sciences is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability in bringing to bear AI and GenAI to drive business value.
- Proficient technical foundation with a thorough understanding of software development processes and methodologies.

- Strong communication abilities, capable of simplifying intricate ideas for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Outstanding organizational and project management expertise, adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

Desirable Skills/Experience

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a track record of successfully delivering digital products.
- Knowledge and/or experience of Regulatory processes and data including data standards and MDM, RDM is a plus.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent collaboration and leadership skills in a global organization where stakeholders are geographically dispersed.
- Passionate about user experience and committed to delivering products that delight customers.
