Medical Area Head CVRM

As Medical Area Head CVRM, you will play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on patients' lives. You will be accountable for the strategic direction, business/resource planning, and team leadership of the CVRM medical team in Italy.
Accountabilities
As the Medical Area Head CVRM, you will report to the Medical Director of AZ Italy and be responsible for steering the strategic direction of the CVRM Medical Team. You will define objectives, coordinate and prioritize team activities, ensure scientific leadership, and develop medical excellence. Your role will involve building AstraZeneca's image as a key player in CVRM through innovative partnerships. You will manage all activities and account relationships in accordance with company values, code of conduct, guidelines/internal procedures, and Italian legislation.
Essential Skills/Experience
• Medical Degree, Cardiovascular, Internal Medicines specialization is an asset
• Extensive medical affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with proven track record in prelaunch and medical activities
• Clear and proven extensive experience of people development, performance management, building performing organization and driving change management and innovation
• Proven ability to interact successfully with external stakeholders, including health authorities
• Evidence of team working and accountability
• Ability to operate and influence at a high strategic level in the business
• Understanding of the responsibilities of a pharmaceutical company physician in compliance and governance
• Fluent in Italian and English
Desirable Skills/Experience
• Cardiovascular, Internal Medicines specialization is an asset
• Complex CVRM portfolio management
