Strategic Pricing & HEOR Manager

1. MISSION:

The Pricing & HEOR Manager is responsible for contributing to develop and implement strategic pricing and health economics initiatives to maximize product value and ensure P&R and market access. The role leverages health economic models, real-world evidence, and data analysis to support reimbursement decisions, contribute to the analysis of financial exercises, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and engage key stakeholders. The manager ensures compliance with regulations and provides actionable insights that enable optimal pricing and positioning of pharmaceutical products in an evolving healthcare environment.

2. RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Pricing Strategy Development: Contribute to develop pricing strategies at national level for R&I products in alignment with corporate objectives, market conditions, and regulatory requirements. This involves competitor price analysis, value-based pricing, and forecasting the potential impact of pricing decisions.

  • Health Economics Analysis: Lead the conducting of health economic modeling (e.g., cost-effectiveness, budget impact analysis) to demonstrate the value of R&I products to payers, healthcare providers, and regulatory bodies.

  • Market Access Support: Collaborating closely with market access teams to develop compelling value propositions, support reimbursement submissions, and obtain optimal formulary positions.

  • Outcomes Research: Designing and implementing real-world evidence studies and outcomes research projects to generate economic data supporting product value in clinical practice.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Presenting health economic data and pricing rationales to payers, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders such as commercial, medical, and regulatory teams.

  • Policy and Regulatory Monitoring: Keeping up-to-date with healthcare policies, pricing regulations, competitive Intelligence on pricing, HTA (Health Technology Assessment) requirements, and reimbursement trends to anticipate market shifts and ensure compliance.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams (such as medical affairs, regulatory, commercial, and government affairs) to align strategies and support business objectives.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collecting and analyzing market data, health outcomes, and pricing information to inform decision-making and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

  • Financial exercises: Contribute to develop the mid/long-term plan and the Pricing strategies for the times/price assumptions of the internal financial exercises (RBU-1/RBU-2/MTP/LTP/Ph.Budget).

  • Compliance: Ensure that all activities related to the role and the unit comply with applicable external and internal regulations (policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and Code of Conduct).

3. REQUIREMENTS:

3.1 Mandatory:

  • Training: Degree / Graduate.

  • Spanish: Native/Fluid

  • English: C1

  • Computing: Office advanced level.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry sector.

  • 3 years experience in a similar position within the knowledge of spanish healthcare environment, price & reimbursement processes and pharmacoeconomic models and HTA requirements.

3.2 Desirable:

  • R&I therapy area experience

  • Master/Course on HEOR/Pricing

  • In-depth knowledge of the healthcare environment and main stakeholders at national and regional level.

  • 4-5 years experience in a similar position.  Financial experience would be an asset
