AstraZeneca has an opportunity for 3 experienced recruiters to join our Talent Acquisition team. Develop your skills and experience, and support our leaders to bring the best talent in the market to AstraZeneca

The Opportunity

  • Be a key contributor in defining how Talent Acquisition supports our business. You’ll influence the way we attract, engage and hire the people who move science forward.

  • Develop your skills leveraging modern  industry tools and practices, using state-of-the-art recruitment technology and continuously evolving your expertise.

  • Lead the full recruitment journey for your portfolio, designing thoughtful sourcing and attraction strategies that reflect our purpose and reach the talent who belong here.

  • Embrace our new AI-powered Talent Intelligence platform, Eightfold, to unlock smarter hiring decisions, help mobilise internal talent and bring a future-ready approach to every stage of how to recruit and attract talent.

  • Build trusted partnerships across the business, becoming a strategic advisor to Hiring Managers and add value through insight, expertise and empathy.

  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience, helping every person feel seen, respected and inspired — a true reflection of our values.

  • Empower better decisions by bringing data, market insights and trends to your stakeholders, shaping hiring outcomes that support our long-term ambition.

  • The Talent Acquisition Specialist also has responsibility for building out capability in one of the 3 areas; employer branding & recruitment marketing, best practice hiring manager and candidate experience, or recruitment process & systems optimisation.

  • Interested candidates should highlight any specific skills or areas of interest with their application.

About You

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced recruitment role from either agency or internal background.

  • Experience building strong talent pipelines for either early careers, sales/business development, and/or specialist/niche roles

  • Outstanding communication skills and a genuine interest in people.

  • Problem solving skills and the resilience to work in an agile and changing environment

  • Relationship driven and the ability to collaborate across different skillsets, personality styles and cultures within the context of a global working environment

  • Demonstrated experience utilising a range of candidate attraction channels, including Linked In

  • Organised and can independently manage a portfolio of roles

  • A creative and innovative approach to using relevant employer branding assets

  • Ability to learn and adopt to new IT tools and systems and ways of working.

  • A genuine curiosity and passion for building best practice and implementing new talent acquisition practices to optimise internal systems and resources.

About Us

Our North Ryde location at Macquarie Park, is home to more than 1000 employees across 2 separate sites which include ourManufacturing Plant and our Commercial Head Office. Talent Acquisition at AstraZeneca is extremely varied and includes both blue collar, white collar and executive recruitment.

Our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant is a world-class facility dedicated to the production of high-quality medicines. The site has a proven track record of delivering outstanding supply performance and is regarded as one of the most cost-efficient and successful manufacturing sites in our entire global network. 

Our commercial teams are located opposite our manufacturing plant on Talavera Road. From Field Sales, Clinical Research, Clinical Trials, Market Access, and Corporate Affairs to Distribution, Facility Management, Finance, Global Supply Chain, HR, IT, Manufacturing, Marketing, Medical Affairs and Quality Assurance they enjoy an open plan and agile office environment with collaborative spaces to create and share ideas. 

Our offices are close to public transport and there is free parking for all employees.
