As a Senior Director, Operations IT - Business Partner, Sourcing, you will collaborate with senior global business unit leads and other Operations IT leaders to develop critical initiatives that enhance business operations and drive excellence on a global scale. Accountabilities:
In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate the delivery, deployment, and implementation of innovative IT solutions while maintaining operational IT systems roadmaps that support global procurement and contract manufacturing processes. You will play a crucial role in developing platform strategies that champion innovation and optimize IT operations. Collaborating closely with Business Analysts and Business Relationship Managers, you will craft the overall IT capability for aligned business units, ensuring procurement and contract manufacturing strategies are fully supported through effective IT delivery. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of senior IT professionals across multiple countries, leading vendor relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supervising the IT budget for sourcing operations.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Proven ability to act as a technology Inspiring Leader and drive technology new ideas/concepts into the business.
Experience running a global IT organization with proven ability to influence Senior Leaders and the direction of the business.
Implementing global systems/processes and business change.
Ability to align IT strategies with business objectives and deliver innovative technology solutions that drive competitive advantage to aligned business units.
Experience of delivering multiple parallel sophisticated IT programmes.
Hands-on IT systems delivery & support models following Std. SDLC & ITIL with deep understanding of IT delivery critical metrics.
Cross-cultural people management and employee engagement.
Experience of working in agile teams using SCRUM methodologies.
Adept at Talent & Attrition Management with effective succession planning.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
18 to 20+ years of proven experience with strong IT business partnering and leadership.
Strong knowledge of IT systems involved in supporting manufacturing & engineering processes.
Previous experience controlling IT project budgets up to $30M.
Experience working in a global organization where partners and develop team members are geographically dispersed.
Pharma or healthcare domain exposure.
Exposure to IT landscape in highly supervised environments.
