Accountabilities

As a Junior Delivery Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of critical SAP projects and changes. This entry-level position focuses on project coordination, support, and improvement activities. You will gain invaluable experience working at the heart of our delivery operations and have the opportunity to engage in day-to-day SAP service support activities alongside the global SAP service lead.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Passion for continuous improvement and quality
  • Proficiency with AZ’s SAP Solution Manager
  • Proficiency with the TM1 system
  • High level of proficiency in planning analytics
  • Proficiency in Project Management Tools, including Microsoft Project
  • Proficiency in the AstraZeneca cross-charge management process
  • Experience of vendor and colleague onboarding at AZ
  • Experience of Stakeholder and Client Communication
  • Experience of Event Management and Resource Planning for teams up to 50 people
  • Track record that demonstrates a keen interest in AI & Emerging Technologies
  • IT /SAP background

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Formal Project Management qualification
  • Software engineering experience

Attention to detail and analytical skills are essential for success in this role. You will need to build networks with AZ colleagues inside and outside the SAP team, as well as with third parties. Cultural sensitivity is crucial for working effectively in our global, multicultural organization.
