What you'll do
As a Sales Representative with us, you’ll sell life-changing medicines within one of four therapeutic areas: Oncology, Respiratory, Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic, and other diseases. Using your exceptional selling skills and personable attitude, you’ll build strong and strategic partnerships with healthcare providers across your territory – from clinicians and pharmacists to nurses and consultants.
The part you play in our business will be challenging, yet rewarding, requiring you to use your resilient, collaborative and diplomatic skillsets to make connections. The majority of your work will be field based, and will require you to be highly-organised, planning your monthly schedule, attending meetings and calls, as well as writing up reports.

En tant que représentant(e) médical(e) – Rive-Sud Ouest de Montréal , vous jouerez un rôle central dans la canalisation de nos capacités scientifiques en vue d’avoir une incidence positive sur la vie des patients. Le ou la titulaire du poste a la responsabilité d’atteindre et de dépasser les objectifs de vente dans la zone géographique qui lui est attribuée, tout en respectant l’ensemble des normes de l’entreprise et les normes réglementaires applicables. Le ou la représentant(e) commercial(e) du territoire s’efforcera de comprendre et d’identifier les besoins du client, en harmonisant les ressources appropriées et les activités de transition. Vous acquerrez des connaissances avancées sur les produits et les problèmes de santé, permettant un engagement approfondi avec tous les professionnels de la santé.
Vos responsabilités :
- Vous devrez élaborer et mettre en œuvre votre plan de gestion des ventes en vue d’atteindre ou de dépasser les objectifs de vente de votre territoire.
- Vous ferez la promotion de notre gamme de produits de soins primaires et renseignerez nos précieux clients afin de produire des résultats positifs pour les patients.
- Votre style de communication facilitera la diffusion de renseignements sur les produits auprès des médecins, des pharmaciens et des influenceurs en milieu hospitalier. Vous révélerez les besoins non comblés, et nous mettrons au point des solutions pour y répondre.
- Vous collaborerez avec l’équipe des ventes, les collègues du siège social et les principaux influenceurs au sein de l’unité d’affaires de district et de votre région.
- Vous communiquerez des renseignements relatifs aux activités sur le terrain avec votre équipe et vos partenaires du siège social en vue d’améliorer nos méthodes de travail et de renforcer notre position sur le marché.
- Votre expérience antérieure vous permettra d’analyser, de planifier et de mettre en œuvre des activités visant à favoriser la réussite commerciale au sein de votre territoire, y compris les événements commerciaux, la gestion des dépenses et l’investissement dans les projets de formation continue.
- Votre intérêt envers les gens vous permettra naturellement de bâtir de solides affiliations avec les équipes et les clients, qui assureront des relations de travail réciproques.
- Vous devrez recueillir et signaler les manifestations indésirables conformément aux politiques et procédures d’AstraZeneca.
Ce que nous recherchons :
- Au moins 2 ans d’expérience dans le domaine de la vente de produits pharmaceutiques requis; de préférence dans le secteur pharmaceutique; agrément obtenu du CFPC, souhaitable.
- Baccalauréat ou expérience équivalente d’un collège reconnu ou d’une université reconnue.
- Résultats éprouvés et constants en matière de performances de vente.
- Sens des affaires et expertise analytique éprouvés.
- Compétences éprouvées en leadership, en organisation et en communication.
- Expérience dans le lancement de nouveaux produits.
- Solides compétences techniques, maîtrise de l’informatique avec la suite Microsoft Office, y compris Excel, PowerPoint, et des plateformes de réunion numériques, y compris Veeva Engage, Teams, Zoom, etc.
- Permis de conduire valide et dossier de conduite sécuritaire.
- Des déplacements vers des bureaux nationaux, régionaux et d’entreprise peuvent être nécessaires.
- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement au rythme rapide et dynamique.
- Bilinguisme (français et anglais), un atout.

As a Medical Sales Representative - Rive-Sud Ouest de Montréal you'll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients' lives. The Representative has a responsibility to meet and exceed sales objectives in their assigned geography while in accordance with all applicable company and regulatory standards. The territory sales representative will work to understand and identify customer needs, aligning appropriate resources and all pull-through activities. You will acquire advanced product and disease state knowledge that allows for in-depth engagement with all health care professionals.
What You’ll Do:
- You will build and implement your sales management plan to meet or exceed sales goals for your territory.
- You will promote our Primary Care portfolio and educate our valued customers to create positive outcomes for patients.
- Your communication style will easily disseminate product information to physicians, pharmacists and hospital influencers and you will uncover unmet needs, and we will develop solutions to meet those unmet needs.
- You will partner with the sales team, head office-based colleagues and key influencers within your District and Regional Business Unit.
- You will share field insights with your team and head office partners to improve how we work and accelerate our market position.
- Your previous experience will enable you to analyze, plan and implement activities to drive business success in your territory such as sales events, expense management and investments in continuous education projects.
- Your affinity for people will naturally build strong team affiliations and customers ensuring reciprocal working relationships.
- You will collect and report Adverse Events in accordance with AstraZeneca policies and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience required; preferably in the pharmaceutical industry and have preferably completed your CPPE accreditation.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from an accredited college or university.
- Proven and consistent track record of success in sales performance.
- Proven business acumen and analytical expertise.
- Demonstrated effective leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Experienced in launching new products.
- Strong technical skills, computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and digital meeting platforms including Veeva Engage, Teams, Zoom etc.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Travel to national, regional, and corporate offices may be required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.
