We are seeking a Regional Healthcare Manager to join our Business Unit. In this pivotal role, you will lead regional market access initiatives, deliver targeted clinical practice change partnerships, and ensure AstraZeneca medicines are positioned as part of the solution to evolving NHS priorities. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will make a tangible impact on patient outcomes, market growth, and healthcare innovation.

Accountabilities

As a Regional Healthcare Manager, you will:

  • Deliver regional sales targets and handle budgets effectively.
  • Achieve market access at the defined account level, supporting patient access and practice change locally.
  • Lead business-to-business selling based on payer value propositions to drive practice change at scale.
  • Develop and maintain regional account plans as part of the Regional Leadership Team.
  • Build strong professional relationships with commercial payors, clinical payors, and commissioners to optimise the regional access environment.
  • Provide strategic NHS advocacy, aligning short-, medium-, and long-term goals with AstraZeneca’s business strategies.
  • Implement commercial and project-based offerings as the need arises by the business.
  • Ensure compliance with AstraZeneca governance policies and adherence to the ABPI Code of Practice.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Degree-level qualification with NHS relevance.
  • Strong NHS knowledge and understanding of local health economies.
  • Proven track record in account management and eye for business.
  • Emotional intelligence and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Project management experience.
  • Full driving license.
  • ABPI qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering strong sales results

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Proven success in business-to-business selling and negotiation.
  • Experience in strategic account management and change management.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to encourage and influence.
  • Respiratory experience
