Accountabilities:
As a Medical Affairs Manager, your responsibilities will include providing medical input to business strategic and operational planning for Lung Cancer, aiding the delivery of clinical insight, customer focus and clinical governance into Medical and Business Unit objectives, and developing and delivering pre-/peri-launch and life-cycle management medical plans. You will work closely with the field MSL team, MSP and head office medical team and other cross-functional teams, to deliver local brand strategic plans and medical tactics.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Registered Physician (GMC), Pharmacist (General Pharmaceutical Council) or Scientist (PhD/MSc)
- Experience in Oncology, specifically technical expertise in lung cancer
- Prior experience in a Medical Affairs role within pharmaceutical industry
- Proven project management skills
- Knowledgeable about the UK NHS landscape and set up
- Proven ability to interact with external stakeholders
- Evidence of effective team working and accountability
- Proven capability in PMCPA Code application and compliance training, QAP/Nominated signatory or to be obtained with 9 months if not already obtained
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Higher degree in Oncology (e.g. PhD / MSc in Oncology)
- Member/Fellow of a Royal College of Physicians/Surgeons/GPs or the Royal Pharmaceutical Society
- ABPI nominated signatory
- Experience in evidence generation projects
