Accountabilities:
- Build and implement project work plans, adjusting as necessary to meet evolving needs.
- Mobilize project resources for programs.
- Lead large and complex projects, including supplier contracts.
- Identify resources and assign responsibilities.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring business requirements are captured.
- Build and lead project teams, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
- Apply specialist knowledge in project management, planning, budgets, and methodologies.
- Review deliverables and provide sign-off before engaging stakeholders.
- Resolve complex quality and compliance risks, ensuring adherence to policies.
- Drive collaboration and knowledge sharing among project teams.
- Identify and resolve risks.
- Undertake engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
- Manage project budget and call out cost changes.
- Develop project planning and action logs, risks, and issues reports.
- Develop transition plans for controlled handovers to business areas.

Essential Skills/Experience:
- Experience of 8+ years in programme/project management, with a solid track record
- Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context
- Demonstrate strong communication and relationship building skills with experience of collaborating and sharing knowledge between teams
- Evidence of crafting and developing innovative solutions that have a major impact within the organisation
- Strong networking/consulting skills with good internal/external links
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language and in alignment with AZ business
- Solid track record in delivering high-risk programme/projects and decision making
- Excellent business engagement and business acumen with sensitivity to political/economic environment
- Experience of managing and controlling a budget
- Experience of working within a quality and compliance environment and application of policies, procedures, and guidelines

Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Project Management qualification
