The Axial Programme will be powered by S/4HANA a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system which will be implemented right across the organisation and will provide our business with standardised processes, enhanced financial management, common data and real time reporting, transforming the way we work through our entire supply chain - from bench to patient.
The new system will be used by more than 20,000 employees daily, is foundational to all AZ entities and is central to most core business processes. This is a once in a generation programme for AstraZeneca and will shape our ways of working globally for many years to come.

We are now looking for an Enterprise Process Expert within “Order and Distribution to Cash” process tower to join our team.
Introduction to the role
The Enterprise Process Expert will be responsible for supporting the Development and Delivery of a defined suite of Order and Distribution to Cash Business Processes associated with the successful distribution of materials and finished goods within the Operations Supply Network and the distribution of products to various type of external customers. With a focus on the exploitation of SAP (S/4 HANA) Transportation Management (TM) and SAP Business Network for Logistics (BNL) capability to collaborate with Logistics Service Providers (LSP) to realise the defined processes.
The Enterprise Process Expert is a global role and will be assigned to manage logistics collaboration and integration with AZ LSP on digital freight collaboration and global track & trace. In this role, you will be driving strategic and operational alignment with internal and external stakeholders to deliver global distribution process design and embed these processes in the BAU organisation ensuring they are aligned to the strategic direction. Ensuring the capabilities of LSP enables the future needs of the growing business.
What you'll do:
Project Management
Collaborate with SAP and Visibility Platform to manage the SAP BNL carrier onboarding activities, ensuring a structured project plan with clear project tasks and timeline, and at all times aligned with the overall programme plan
Prepare and Organize project kick off and follow up meetings with LSP. Actively engaging with LSP to communicate and explain onboarding concept/requirements, negotiate/agree project milestones
Drive internal discussion/alignment with project stakeholders to discuss and follow up project tasks, and host regular project meetings
Provide status update to Axial steering committee and third-party engagement team as well as global or local business stakeholders in Global Logistics Function
Process Design
Work closely with Axial Distribution process team to detail out the transportation management process design with relevant to the touchpoints and interfaces with LSPs
Engage Axial functional/process experts to drive detailed process design and integration discussions with LSPs
Proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies, and report and escalate to relevant process or technical experts to drive resolutions
Manages/Supports the deployment and change activities.
Onboarding and Integration
Understand the details of different BNL/Project44 integration approaches and options, and initiate Integration meetings with LSP’s business and IT teams.
Collaborating with SAP, Visibility platform and/or AZ integration specialist to drive integration discussions with LSP and agree the best integration approach/option
Work closely with integration specialist to manage integration mapping discussions and engage relevant Axial functional resources to support
Coordinate BNL integration testing with LSPs
Essential Skills and Experience
Proven experience of SAP Transportation Management and/or Business Network for Logistics as Consultant, Process Owner or Key User
Strong project management, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation processes and LSP/supplier management, preferably on a global or minimum regional environment
Technical knowledge on various interface approaches, like IDOC, EDI, XML, API & etc.
The capabilities to deal with ambiguities and establish structured ways of working
Ability to manage diverse and indirect teams, multiple cultures and negotiate different interests
Ability to interpret and communication technical information into business language
Proficiency in English
