At AstraZeneca, we are transforming our HR function to deliver greater efficiency, alignment, and compliance on a global scale. As part of the HR Digital team, you will actively contribute to streamlining HR workflows, enabling scalable processes, and supporting our broader strategic goals. This role offers you the chance to collaborate with global teams and make a significant impact on AstraZeneca’s HR transformation journey. The HR Process Analyst is a key role within the HR Digital team, focused on enabling the standardisation and optimisation of HR processes. You will support a range of process improvement initiatives and will play a critical role in delivering streamlined, scalable, and efficient HR processes that align with global standards and enhance employee and manager experiences.

Accountabilities

• Provide support to map, analyse, and document HR processes across the hire-to-retire lifecycle.
• Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence (CoE’s), and regional HR partners to ensure processes are aligned with business needs and global standards.
• Identify and document inefficiencies or deviations in current processes, contributing to improvement plans that create consistency and efficiency.
• Partner with HR technology and systems teams to ensure processes integrate seamlessly with our core HR systems such as Workday and Service Now.
• Support the development, configuration, and launch of the Business Information Centre (BIC) Enterprise Process Management tool within HR by providing detailed process documentation and testing support.
• Maintain and regularly update the tool’s repository, ensuring process documentation is accurate, consistent, and accessible.
• Contribute to the functional rollout of the tool, including creating and delivering supporting materials such as user guides and reference documents.
• Act as a point of contact for HR teams using the tool, providing guidance, answering queries, and resolving tool-related issues where needed.

Essential Skills/Experience

• 2–3 years' experience in process design, operations, or analysis, ideally in HR or business services.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations and end-to-end HR processes like hiring, onboarding, performance rewards, and employee relations.
• Proficient in process mapping tools (e.g., BIC, Visio) and process documentation frameworks.
• Familiar with HR systems (e.g., Workday) and aligning them with workflow needs.
• Skilled in conducting root-cause analyses and developing recommendations balancing local flexibility with global alignment.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation.
• Good interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across global HR teams, Centres of Excellence, legal, and regional functions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrable ability to support the implementation of new tools, processes, and workflows through training and stakeholder engagement.
• Adept at promoting standardised processes in challenging environments.
• Degree or equivalent experience in Business, HR Management, or Process Improvement.

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Experience in process standardisation involving legal/compliance reviews and regional customisation.

• Certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) are desirable.
