RDU Franchise Manager – Lima

Position Summary
The incumbent is accountable for the adaptation and execution of the franchise’s strategic marketing plan, ensuring its successful implementation within the local context. This role leads a cross-functional team encompassing demand generation, marketing, medical, access, finance, legal, compliance, procurement, IT, PSP, and other relevant functions.

Key Responsibilities
• The key responsibilities for this role include overseeing the franchise’s promotional strategy to achieve budget targets, safeguard contribution margins, and drive sustainable growth.
• The position collaborates closely with government affairs and market access teams to proactively influence policy development and secure optimal market access, supporting the long-term expansion of the portfolio.
• The incumbent leads the cross-functional team (CFT), orchestrating the development and flawless execution of the operational plan for the RDU business in Peru and Ecuador, ensuring alignment with both countries’ strategic priorities.
• Responsibility for the brand investment plan—including advertising and promotional budgets—is shared in coordination with the Andean RDU team.
• Sales execution at the field level is a core focus, with active coaching of sales representatives to enhance sales effectiveness and leverage scientific engagement to influence physicians, in line with the organization’s leadership selling model.
• The role also requires building and managing relationships with Key External Experts (KEEs), in partnership with Medical, Market Access, Marketing, and Sales functions.
• Further accountabilities include ensuring robust demand forecasting.
• Driving sustainable profitability by co-leading strategic P&L decisions with the Andean team.
• Monitoring key business and talent management indicators to inform strategies that ensure achievement of defined goals.
• Oversight of the medical panel of representatives is expected to ensure data-driven decision-making, and the role leads the development of territorial plans for healthcare professionals and key accounts to deliver on objectives.
• The role manages all aspects of team talent, including selection, retention, and separation processes, contributing to the achievement of area goals.
• Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for promptly reporting any actual or potential non-compliance with company codes and policies, and for completing all mandatory organizational training, including corporate standards and pharmacovigilance.

Qualifications
• The ideal candidate will have a progressive and demonstrable track record of success in sales and marketing roles related to specialty care products.
• Strong business acumen and expertise in financial planning, with a consistent record of delivering results, are essential.
• In-depth knowledge of the public market landscape in Peru and Ecuador, with hands-on experience securing access for new products in public institutions, is required.
• Experience overseeing successful product launches in local markets, preferably within rare or orphan disease categories and competitive environments, is highly desirable.
• A history of success in market-shaping activities, particularly in establishing unmet needs for rare disease areas, is an asset.
• The selected candidate will be an authentic and collaborative stakeholder manager, able to build credibility across external and internal audiences.
• Strong leadership, organizational abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication and interpersonal skills are critical.
• The role also requires creative thinking and composure when engaging at all levels, including senior management.

Education
• A professional degree in a business-related discipline is desirable. Fluency in English is required.
