Fusion Pharmaceuticals, a member of the AstraZeneca Group, is a clinical-stage oncology company focused on developing next-generation radioconjugates (RCs) as precision medicines.  Fusion connects alpha particle emitting isotopes to various targeting molecules to selectively deliver the alpha emitting payloads to tumors.  Fusion’s clinical portfolio includes:  FPI-2265 targeting prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA) for metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer currently in a Phase 2 trial;  FPI-1434 targeting insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor currently in a Phase 1 trial;  FPI-2059, a small molecule targeting neurotensin receptor 1 (NTSR1), currently in a Phase 1 trial; and FPI-2068, a bispecific IgG-based EGFR-cMET targeted radioconjugate currently in a Phase 1 trial.  In addition, Fusion is pursuing combination programs between RCs and DNA Damage Response Inhibitors (DDRis) and immune-oncology agents. Fusion has a fully operational Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliant state-of-the-art radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facility to meet supply demand for Fusion's growing pipeline of RCs.

The Logistics technician will work within the global supply network and report to the Logistics Manager to help coordinate all product and component shipments including, but not limited to API (including starting materials and intermediates), bulk or packaged drug product, labeled drug product, and samples between contract manufacturing operations sites, storage locations, test labs, etc. In addition, the logistics technician will coordinate shipment of equipment to support internal operations. This position is located onsite in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. This position may be required to work evenings, weekends, and other non-standard work hours as needed.

Responsibilities and job tasks will include:

  • Coordinate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory teams to ensure timely and compliant shipments

  • Maintain transportation schedules that support strict delivery timelines and half-life constraints of radiopharmaceuticals

  • Ensure compliance with all transport regulations (e.g., CNSC, DOT, IATA, ADR) for radioactive and hazardous materials

  • Ensure proper packaging and temperature control for products throughout storage and transit

  • Monitor cold chain data to maintain product integrity and compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practices)

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for audits and regulatory inspections

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 (two) years of experience in a similar position

  • College diploma or certificate in Logistics, Material Management, Supply Chain, or related field

  • Knowledge of all transportation modes such as air, road, rail and international shipping procedures

  • Strong understanding of import/export documentation and regulatory compliance

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across teams

  • Experience in the Radiopharmaceutical industry is an advantage

  • knowledge of GMP regulations and clinical drug supply processes is a strong asset

Annual base salary for this position ranges from 58,616.80 to 76,934.55.
