Thesis work description:  

Join our innovative team to support the enhancement of monitoring capabilities on our continuous direct compression line for oral medicines. You'll be involved in data collection, pre-processing, and developing advanced modelling approaches. This project is crucial to our mission of implementing real-time control processes that ensure higher yields and consistent tablet quality. 

Key Objectives: 

  • Develop and implement data collection and pre-processing techniques to enhance monitoring capabilities. 
  • Design and verify advanced modelling approaches to optimize our production line. 
  • Collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams to facilitate real-time monitoring and process control implementations. 
  • Identify opportunities for monitoring and control applications increasing yield and ensuring consistent quality in final product.   

Structure: 

  • Duration: Fall term 2025 
  • Credits: 30 

Essential Requirements: 

  • Enrolled in a Master's program focused on modelling and data handling (e.g., engineering, data science). 
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and independently. 
  • Enthusiastic about tackling complex challenges in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
