Accountabilities

• Operate and train others on manufacturing equipment such as incubators, bioreactors, filtration skids, chromatography skids, mixers, centrifuges, washers, autoclaves, tanks, and testing instruments.

• Monitor process parameters, contribute to investigations, troubleshoot during processing, and recommend solutions.

• Serve as the "Subject Matter Expert" in unit operations to enhance quality, ensure safety, and drive process efficiency and accuracy.

• Support process improvement initiatives and author or revise standard operating procedures.

• Review executed Production Records for accuracy and completion.

• Utilize MS Office tools and AZ enterprise systems effectively.

Essential Skills/Experience

Education/Experience:

• Associates degree in a science field with 4+ years' experience; Bachelor's degree preferred

• Ability to work 2nd shift, M-F, 2PM to 11PM EST

Skills/Abilities:

Upstream

• Proficient in cell culture operations such as Biosafety Cabinet Operation, Cell Banking, Bioreactor Operations, Aseptic Technique, and Centrifuge Harvest Operations.

• Ability to work with others in a team environment and lead a team of peers

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  

Support Services  

• Proficient in preparation and filtration of production scale buffer and media solutions.

• Proficient in the operation of all area-specific production equipment such as parts washers, autoclaves, fixed and portable stainless-steel tanks, etc.

• Ability to work with others in a team environment and lead a team of peers

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from 81,992.80 - 122,989.20 USD Annual. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
