Oncology Commercial Excellence Summer Intern

We are seeking undergraduate junior and Master's students majoring in Economics, Operations Management, Data Management, Systems Management, Information Technology, or a related field for two 12-Week Student Intern roles to be working in Gaithersburg, MD for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.

Position Duties:

Project 1 (Undergraduate):

  • Customer Engagement operations stakeholder mapping/documentation for Speaker Programs and Advisory Boards.

  • Developing, driving and managing the overall day-to-day operations for Speaker Programs, Advisory Boards and Consultant Activity capability to support Oncology Business Unit’s US region (5 Tumor teams matrixed across 5+ brands with multiple new products and indications).

Project 2 (Undergraduate/Graduate level):

  • Launch Readiness Indicator reporting in Pelican similar to LaunchPAL tool to track the LRI.

  • Increase visibility into launches through strategic guidance for launch PMs and providing process oversight.

  • Identify and mitigate risks to upcoming launches in collaboration with Launch PMs and Brands.

  • Ensuring that the optimized launch processes are adhered to in order to realize their value.

  • Capture best practices during launches as well as post launch learnings.

  • Presenting solutions to key stakeholders and leadership to get buy-in.

Position Requirements

  • Junior and Master's students majoring in Economics, Operations Management, Data Management, Systems Management, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.

  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, analytical, and computer skills.

  • Strong organizational skills required, including great- time management skills.

  • Highly organized and able to work independently on multiple tasks in a demanding environment.

  • Strategic and innovative – ability to keep a pulse of the future of pharma, be in the know and bring that knowledge in-house.

  • Ability to analyze problems, gain insights and identify pragmatic solutions required.

  • Ability to execute and implement solutions in a complex matrixed organization required.

  • Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.

  • US Work Authorization is required at time of application.

  • This role will not be providing OPT support.

  • Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD for 3-5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.

  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0.
