Junior Associate Brand Director
Following positive high-level results from the LUNA Phase 3 COPD studies, we are expanding the global marketing team.
This is a key role within one of BBU’s top launches and a contributor to our 2030 ambition. The Junior Associate Brand Director will lead defined global prelaunch and launch workstreams and own delivery of critical initiatives across priority markets, enabling omnichannel execution and operationalizing the brand plan. This role requires an outcomes focused leader who can motivate cross functional partners, guide country teams, and exercise evaluative judgment in complex, ambiguous situations. You will be accountable for end-to-end campaign delivery within owned streams, insight generation, and performance optimization—grounded in robust market research and a strong understanding of the external environment.
Accountabilities
Brand Plan Execution: Lead the execution of assigned global prelaunch and promotional workstreams from brief through approval and deployment, ensuring materials meet quality, compliance, and review standards; set timelines, manage interdependencies, and enforce version control across assets.
Lead Global Initiative Execution: Own the design and delivery of campaign and content rollouts, brand forums, and congress presence for defined tracks; drive toolkit dissemination and adoption in T8 markets with clear KPIs, escalation paths, and risk mitigations.
Cross Functional Team Guidance: Serve as a key member of the Global Marketers Forum and support with structured agendas, decision logs, and follow-through; align medical, access, insights, and omnichannel partners to milestones and outcomes.
Lead Strategic Insights Collation: Lead specific positioning and messaging work packages by structuring customer insights, competitive assessments, and market research outputs.
External Engagement Stewardship: Plan and coordinate KEE and stakeholder interactions alongside senior team members; ensure compliant insight capture and translate findings into prioritized, evidence based updates for promotional planning and omnichannel journeys.
Omnichannel and C360: Take a lead on segmentation and journey mapping deliverables for defined audiences; oversee content tagging strategy, upload, and approvals in C360; monitor channel performance and implement test and learn plans with documented hypotheses and outcomes.
Responsible AI Ways of Working: Champion responsible AI tools for content tagging, first draft generation, and analytics summaries within your workstreams; codify standards, upskill team members, and publish best practices/playbooks.
Agency and Budget Ownership: Lead day-to-day agency management for your streams, including briefs, timelines, scopes, and quality gates; manage PO requests, invoice reconciliation, and budget trackers; ensure value for money and adherence to procurement policies.
Performance Management and Optimization: Own dashboards and KPI trackers for your initiatives; run monthly and quarterly performance reviews, proactively diagnose variance, and implement corrective action plans; socialize learning and scale what works.
Anticipate and assess risks across compliance, reputational, operational, and delivery dimensions for your workstreams; define mitigations, trigger points, and decision criteria.
Essential Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biotech commercial or marketing roles with specialty care exposure.
Demonstrated leadership of small projects or owned workstreams within launches or major campaigns at country, regional, or global level.
Familiarity with core commercial concepts, including positioning, campaign development, forecasting inputs, pricing and reimbursement basics, market research methods, and competitive intelligence.
Experience engaging or supporting engagements with external stakeholders (e.g., KEEs, prescribers, payers) and translating insights into actionable strategies.
Strong planning and project leadership with attention to detail; proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver to deadlines.
Proven collaborator who can influence without authority across functions and geographies; capable of setting direction for cross functional and agency teams.
Data driven decision maker; able to synthesize inputs, exercise evaluative judgment, and manage risk in complicated or novel situations.
Desirable Skills/Experience
Business Degree
Strong written and verbal communication; adept at simplifying complexity and creating clear, actionable materials for decision-making.
Comfortable operating amid ambiguity, learning new systems (e.g., C360), and championing responsible AI enabled workflows.
Bias for action with a track record of converting plans into deliverables, measurable outcomes, and scaled best practices.

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $151,081 to $226,622. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
