We are seeking sophomore and junior students majoring in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field for a 12-Week Student Intern role with 3 openings in Gaithersburg, MD for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.

Position Duties:

The Leaders in Finance Tomorrow (LIFT) is an internship program that provides the best and the brightest undergraduate students with a unique opportunity to gain meaningful finance and accounting experiences in the pharmaceutical industry. In addition to their finance assignments, the LIFT participants are involved in cross-functional training sessions and networking activities.

All participants are exposed to senior Finance leadership through our mentoring program and a LIFT pharmaceutical industry research project.

Upon completion, our LIFT participants leave the program with invaluable business knowledge that provides them with a head start on their career.

Exact duties will vary upon candidate background and manager placement. Exposure to typical finance related activities including Month-end close, budgeting/forecasting & financial modeling, with potential deployment across various areas within Finance.

Position Requirements:

  • Sophomore and junior students majoring in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • **Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.

  • Basic understanding of budgeting and planning, and financial/management accounting.

  • MS Office experience with Excel proficiency preferred.

  • Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.

  • US Work Authorization is required at time of application.

  • This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.

  • Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD 4-5 days a week based on team discretion and time of season. This role will not provide relocation assistance.

  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0
