Job Title: Clinical Pharmacometrician, Early Clinical Development

Introduction to role

Are you ready to follow the science and explore new frontiers in clinical pharmacometrics? As a Clinical Pharmacometrician in Early Clinical Development, you'll dive into the depths of population PK, PKPD, exposure-response, exposure-safety, and tumor growth modeling. With the support of our Principal Pharmacometrician and TA lead pharmacometrician, you'll integrate and analyze data to drive interpretation and decision-making across all phases of clinical development. Accountabilities

• Accountable for data integration, analysis, and reporting of M&S results at the study level
• Accountable for executing state-of-the-art M&S techniques with direct value for the project
• Contribute M&S activities to influence study designs and go/no go decisions
• Development of (mechanistic) drug-disease models to support projects within a specific disease domain
• Contribute to regulatory documents and interactions (written)
• Presentation of M&S results in internal and external forums
• Contribute to internal initiatives to develop the pharmacometric discipline including its processes
• Participation in peer review of ongoing activities, reports, and presentations
• Compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) regulations as well as internal/external guidance

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Masters' degree required, PhD degree preferred or equivalent (M.Sc./Pharm.D.) with relevant 0-3 yrs experience required)

  • Training and experience with PK software (NonMEM, R, SAS, Monolix, Matlab)

  • Demonstrated experiences in pharmacometrics, including PK or PKPD

  • Strong quantitative skills (e.g., experience in population modeling, statistics, pharmacology modeling)

  • Ability to identify, develop and execute clinical Pharmacometric activities at a project level 

  • Basic oral and written communication skills

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Scientific publishing in the field of pharmacometrics 

  • Early or late phase clinical development experience/awareness

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges 108,784.80 - 163,177.20 USD Annual. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
