Accountabilities:
Operate bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment such as depth filtration skids, chromatography skids, single-use mixers, tanks, and in-process testing instruments.
Perform steam sterilization, clean in place, manual cleaning, and sanitization of equipment.
Record manufacturing activities clearly and accurately within approved current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) documents and regulatory requirements.
Prepare for processing by ensuring equipment and materials necessary are adequate and available.
Ensure a safe and environmentally sustainable work environment in accordance with AstraZeneca standards.
Utilize MS Office tools and AZ enterprise systems.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 0-4 years of relevant experience.
Introductory knowledge of chromatography process operations, depth filtration, column packing, TFF (Tangential Flow Filtration), and basic analytical testing (e.g., Protein concentration, osmolarity, pH etc.).
Ability to work with others in a team environment.
Familiarity with area-specific production equipment such as parts washers, autoclaves, fixed and portable stainless-steel tanks, etc.
Familiarity with basic chemistry concepts.
Ability to work with others in a team environment.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Demonstrates a high level of drive and initiative.
Logic and decision-making abilities, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to change ways of working/identify opportunities to improve processes within cGMP clinical manufacturing environment.

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $62,105-$93,158. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
