To achieve our bold ambitions, we are now looking for a part-timeMarket Access Manager (40 %) on a 12-month fixed-term contract to come and join our team in Market Access and Government Affairs in Finland. This role reports to the Market Access Lead Outi Virtanen.
The role
You will join forces with functional teams across medical, marketing and sales to ensure alignment to strategy as well as strong execution. Additionally, you will manage the ongoing relationships with national stakeholders and authorities and implement projects. The opportunity is to also to develop and implement national health policy shaping strategies and improve the value of AZ innovative portfolio.
What you will do
Develop and implement market access and pricing strategies for assigned brands, ensuring optimal patient access to treatment.
Manage and ensure appropriate follow-up of price and reimbursement submissions and procedures.
Support development of business case and price approvals internally.
Support patient access of new and launched medicines by tailoring value messaging, tools and tactics together with cross-functional team.
Analyse the local access landscape and local HTA processes to guide strategic planning.
Contribute to GAMA team in Finland and work closely with Nordic teams to ensure optimal patient access to AZ treatments.
Gain robust insights to drive pipeline strategy.
In order to succeed, you have:
We are looking for you who holds min. a Bachelor´s degree or equivalent. Strong understanding of Finnish market access, pricing and healthcare environment is critical to succeed. You must be experienced in working with external stakeholders and authorities. You have strong pharmaceutical experience in health care and dossier preparation.
Strategic thinking – able to consider both long term and short term.
Good project leadership skills.
Strong track record in interacting with and influencing stakeholders
Strong communication & ability to collaborate effectively across functions – both internally and externally
Robust understanding of external environment insights – competition, environmental trends
Entrepreneurial approach to problem solving/innovative in developing creative solutions
Able to synthesize insights to formulate strategies
Good scientific understanding
Driven and results oriented with validated results
Excellent knowledge in Finnish and English language
Desirable experiences
Previous exposure and/or experience in other functional areas of the business such as Governmental Affairs, Medical, Market Access or Health Economics
Experience in CVRM/R&I/Cancer and/or V&IT therapy area
