Introduction to role:

Join our Rare Disease Business Unit as a Medical Advisor in Estonia and play a pivotal role in providing medical and ethical support for your assigned products in current Rare Disease portfolio and for compounds in development! This role is an opportunity to improve value propositions for the benefit of patients through medical and scientific projects, services, and expertise. You will develop medical programs and sector specific tactics as aligned to the medical plan and coordinate and implement it in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Accountabilities:

Identify, develop, and manage relationships with external customers. Provide accurate advice and information to internal and external partners about the products in your scope. Prepare regional specific tactics and medical programs in line with strategic marketing and medical plans and ensure implementation of it in the field. Provide medical support of pre-launch activities of new therapy area developments in partnership with the Business Unit's market access, regulatory affairs, commercial, and marketing teams.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • University degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacology, natural, or health sciences.
  • Experience in pharma business, preferably in medical affairs, or clinical development
  • Strong project management skills
  • Customer orientation (both externally and internally)
  • Ability to work with high amount of data and information
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Collaborative cross-functional working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Sophisticated communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, health care systems and payer structures in Estonia
  • Ability to travel
  • Driver’s license required

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Postgraduate qualification in afore mentioned areas
  • Clinical experience of any kind
  • Confidence and enthusiasm
  • Result oriented and focused
