Are you ready to lead the charge in securing national reimbursement for AstraZeneca medicines in Ireland? As a Market Access Manager, you will spearhead the development and implementation of price and reimbursement strategies, working closely with Market Access and cross-functional teams. Your role is pivotal in navigating Ireland's reimbursement process to ensure our innovative medicines reach patients in need.

Accountabilities

  • Support/Lead the delivery of HTA submission, including:
  • Support the HTA strategy development with the cross-functional team.
  • Research prior appraisals to gain understanding of relevant considerations.
  • Ensure appropriate HE, SLR, RWE deliverables.
  • Tailor final deliverables to meet NCPE HTA requirements including rapid review dossier, Budget Impact Models, Cost-Effectiveness Models, and the final full HTA dossier.
  • Manage input from the cross-functional team of Ireland MC, external vendor personnel, and global collaborators.
  • Collaborate closely with external vendors, global and Ireland MC collaborators to meet HTA evidence requirements.
  • Provide high-quality responses to technical assessor questions.
  • Support Irish pricing strategy for launch/in-line brands in line with existing global frameworks.
  • Represent AstraZeneca to a high standard at price negotiation meetings.
  • Support/Lead the delivery of strategic and operational market access plans for brands, including pricing and access strategy.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of patient access and the Irish healthcare environment.
  • Delivery of annual Horizon Scan and Price Realignment for public and private payers.
  • Develop strong brand and therapy area knowledge to give effective support to Franchise teams.
  • Work within the cross-functional teams, contribute to the strategic and operational planning process.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Scientific or Health Economics or related Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience may be considered
  • More than 3 years market access experience
  • Experience of HTA submissions in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to develop cost-utility analysis and budget impact models
  • Leadership and influencing skills
  • Proven ability to understand, assimilate and communicate scientific information
  • Demonstrable record of collaborative working, and personal delivery to agreed timelines
  • Excellent understanding of the Irish Healthcare landscape
  • Evidence of leading cross-functional project teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong written skills

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Post Graduate qualification in Health Economics or a related field
  • Experience of upskilling internal colleagues
  • Experience of managing external suppliers
  • Experience of HTA submissions in Ireland
