What you'll do
As a Sales Representative with us, you’ll sell life-changing medicines within one of four therapeutic areas: Oncology, Respiratory, Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic, and other diseases. Using your exceptional selling skills and personable attitude, you’ll build strong and strategic partnerships with healthcare providers across your territory – from clinicians and pharmacists to nurses and consultants.
The part you play in our business will be challenging, yet rewarding, requiring you to use your resilient, collaborative and diplomatic skillsets to make connections. The majority of your work will be field based, and will require you to be highly-organised, planning your monthly schedule, attending meetings and calls, as well as writing up reports.

Key Account Manager

As a Key Account Manager, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships in your accounts, identifying and addressing their challenges, and creating value for them and for the organisation through tailored innovative solutions. Your ability to translate insights into actionable outcomes will drive better patient outcomes and help advance healthcare in your region.
Accountabilities:
- Gather insights, identify account needs, analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities to grow the brand.
- Work with the Franchise Manager, the Brand Customer Manager and the Medical Science Liaison to develop account strategies that align with the customer needs and commercial goals.
- Implement account plans and customer engagements to drive sales and achieve sales & activity performance targets.
- In collaboration with the Cx-functional team, implement advocacy plan and develop Local Advocates in allocated accounts.
- Cultivate relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes in the short, medium, and long term.
- Contribute towards the delivery of the annual P&L and contribution budget, and Sales targets.
- Coordinate opportunities with Healthcare Development Partner.
- Consistently adhere to Internal AZ processes, Compliance Governance Framework & IPHA/EFPIA Code.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a science subject.
- Demonstrated experience in key account management, sales, or a comparable position within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, ideally with a focus on rheumatology or related therapeutic areas.
- In-depth knowledge of the Irish healthcare landscape, including HSE frameworks and reimbursement processes.
- Proven track record of sales & business management success in technical scientific selling environment.
- Experience in working cross-functionally, especially with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, to deliver results in a complex environment.
- Self-starter and effective problem solver - responsible for own actions and able to work independently across a large territory.
- Interpersonal and communications skills with a customer-centric mindset
- Strong knowledge of the IPHA/EFPIA Code.
- Full Driving License
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience and success ideally.
- Experience of influencing successfully in a complex organisation.
- A flexible approach in being able to adapt as the brands develop in the marketplace.
