We are seeking a dynamic and talented individual to become part of our Corporate Affairs Team as a Communications Associate in Ireland. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in communications, patient engagement, and government affairs.

Accountabilities

• Support and lead the creation and dissemination of engaging content for internal communication platforms, LinkedIn, and the corporate website.
• Lead in the coordination and execution of internal events.
• Manage compliance requirements and approvals for dissemination of materials.
• Manage AstraZeneca's internal content calendar, newsletter, internal nucleus page, and work vivo to ensure timely and relevant communication.
• Monitor media and policy issues.
• Support drafting of briefing documents, presentations, and other materials.
• With support, manage and drive our Corporate Social Responsibility projects.
• Support the Corporate Affairs team in various ad-hoc duties as required.

Essential Skills/Experience

• Work on your own initiative, drive projects you are responsible for.
• Excited to take on new tasks and grow within the team.
• Actively participate in meetings.
• Proven interest in the pharmaceutical/health environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a keen eye for storytelling and content creation.
• Excellent time management and people skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a small collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
