Marketing Manager CVRM Retail

As a Marketing Manager at AstraZeneca, you'll be at the forefront of managing marketing activities for Mature, Promoted, and Pipeline products. Accountabilities:
In this dynamic role, you'll manage all marketing activities related to CVRM products, focusing on current and future indications. You'll conduct thorough market segment analyses to pinpoint growth drivers and potential risks. Your strategic insights will shape product strategies and may involve determining distribution channel solutions, including digital platforms, social media, and inside sales. Collaborate closely with various teams to ensure successful positioning and seize opportunities for growth.
- Leads development of brand strategy and marketing plans for assigned brands, which may include distribution channel solutions.
- Participates in and evaluates market research and analyzes promotions, public relations, and advertising associated with assigned brands/products.
- Works closely with direct-to-consumer and managed markets teams to ensure successful positioning.
- Works closely with sales leaders to identify opportunities/issues.
- Participates in development of training for field/customer service personnel on brand information.
- Lead and coach brand team which includes brand managers, coordinator and analysts.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- A strong background in marketing within the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in CVRM, would be advantageous.
- Experience in digital marketing strategies and a proven track record of successful brand management would also be beneficial.
- Evidence of leading the planning, organization and implementation of brand strategies in TA areas related to this role.
· Demonstrates evidence of managing and resourcing a portfolio of products across the full lifecycle: launch, grow, defend within a defined budget.
· Has strong knowledge, skills and experience of navigating and influencing the external access environment including a wide variety of payors and stakeholders.
· Can demonstrate examples of driving new ideas and innovation to solve business problems, improve business performance and benefits to patients.
· Can demonstrate strong financial acumen and ability to gather and act on business and customer insights to shape brand strategy .
· Evidence of strong partnership with access and medical teams to design and deliver winning brand strategy and broad value based solutions.
· Deep understanding and expertise in one or more of the brands and related TA.
· Has evidence of building and motivating a high performing team within sales and marketing including handling difficult and challenging people situations.
· Proven experience of successfully initiating business cases with subsequent implementation and leading impacted people through change.
· Can demonstrate experience of a successful track record in pharma.
· Has experience of leading brand strategy within a global company with evidence of strong alignment and collaboration to deliver overall company results.
- Advanced/Fluent English.
Desirable:
· MBA in relevant field
· Sales and/or Sales Leadership experience
