Business Development & Alliance Management Manager

Are you a strong negotiator and storyteller with a passion for connecting people and driving strategic projects? Join our team as a Business Development & Alliance Management Manager, where you will play a crucial role in mapping, managing, and monitoring activities related to AstraZeneca's strategic projects. This is an exciting opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate collaboration opportunities between AZ Brazil and AZ China.

Accountabilities:

  • Map, manage and monitor activities related to AZ strategic projects

  • Coordinate internal/external resources for flawless project execution

  • Ensure all work fronts milestones are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget

  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress, including updates to AZ Senior Management

  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs

  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques

  • Manage relationships with all internal/external stakeholders

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure project governance

  • Define best practices in Project Management

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent

  • English fluency

  • Proven working experience as a project manager

  • Knowledge in pharma industry sector

  • Solid technical background, with understanding of project manager tools, methodologies, and skills needed

  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

We would prefer for you to have:

  • PMP / PRINCE II / Agile certification

  • Experience working in international environments

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs
