Metrology Technician

Join us as a Metrology Technician, where you will perform calibrations following approved requirements, ensuring that measurement systems meet accuracy and precision requirements. You will maintain calibration methodologies, systems, and practices. This position is a 2nd shift position working Tuesday thru Saturday 2:00pm - 10:30pm.
HOWEVER, training will be done on 1st shift, Monday thru Friday 8am - 5 pm(ish), moving to 2nd shift when supervisor feels it's right.

Accountabilities:
You will redesign or adjust measurement capability to minimize errors. Your key accountabilities will include ethical conduct and compliance, escalating quality issues or potential non-compliance to Metrology Management, performing and documenting calibration testing in compliance with cGMP and current safety regulations, and recording and reporting calibration results and documentation from vendor-performed (off-site) calibrations.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- 0-3 years of experience
- Pharmaceutical or regulated Manufacturing experience required

Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge in GMP regulations applicable to where the product is market
- Associate Degree in Electronics, Metrology, or ISA CCST (Certified Control Systems Technician), related field training with some experience is also acceptable
