Senior SAP Consultant (Product Expert) – Clinical Supply Chain

Introduction to role:

Are you ready to redefine an industry and change lives? We are seeking a Senior SAP Consultant (Product Expert) with specialized expertise in SAP modules such as SAP PP, SAP QM, and ATTP. This role is pivotal in driving successful integration projects with S/4HANA and other business solutions like MES. As an IT Clinical Supply Product Authority, you will collaborate with globally distributed multi-functional teams to define integrated IT solutions for AstraZeneca's operations capability associated with Clinical Supply. Your mission will be to ensure seamless integration between business process definition, SAP solution definition, and SAP data objects definition. You will create solution documentation that defines the global standard solution and ensure it is thoroughly tested in line with AstraZeneca's standards. Are you ready to take on this challenge?

Accountabilities:

  • Design and implement integration solutions between SAP S/4HANA Modules.
  • Provide expert advice on standard processes for SAP S/4HANA MFG modules like SAP PP & SAP APO.
  • Offer functional expertise and support for SAP S/4HANA deployment, especially in the Manufacturing space.
  • Support SAP functional testing, SIT, and UAT phases until production deployment.
  • Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness using systems integration.
  • Collaborate closely with multi-functional teams, including IT, supply chain, and other business units, to ensure integrated solutions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation per AstraZeneca standards.
  • Find opportunities for automation and implement innovative solutions to enhance business operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and MFG standard processes to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Technical proficiency in SAP S/4HANA
  • Solid understanding of supply chain planning and optimization
  • Experience of Pharmaceutical supply chain business activities and the required business outcomes within the relevant capability area
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities & projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Diligent with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • In-depth knowledge of Manufacturing business processes and standard methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work closely with multi-functional teams and communicate effectively with partners at all levels.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge of Clinical supply technologies and functionalities
  • Knowledge in ICSM/ SAP S/4HANA or business area
  • Experience in SAP configuration designs for supply chain modules
  • Worked in a hybrid environment with a mix of internal and external resources in multiple geographical locations.
  • Knowledge of the SAP application roadmap as it is relevant to your line of business and the ability to translate that roadmap into the AZ strategic view
